Our Warranty Promise

At Lynktec, we believe that our products should be of the highest quality and we will work hard to solve any problem that may occur with our product.

We are pleased to offer a one-year limited warranty on any product that has been purchased through our website or an authorized retailer. Lynktec’s obligation to this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of any part on the product that is found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal usage during the one-year period, or in other ways return the product to working order.  The one-year warranty period will begin on your date of purchase and cannot be extended or reset under any circumstances.

What is Covered

We will, at our discretion, repair or replace any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.  If your product is no longer being manufactured or is out of stock, we may replace your product with a similar or better product at our discretion.

Replacement product is often sent in simplified packaging to eliminate the need for wasted paper materials.  In some cases, replacement product may be sent in full packaging.

If you are in need of any product materials such as the user manual, please contact our Customer Care team at support@lynktec.com and we will be glad to assist with either emailing a digital copy or mailing a hard copy to you.

What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty will not cover failure to product that has been caused by user error (any defect or malfunction that is caused as a result of misuse, failure to follow operating instructions, abuse, or use with improper and/or faulty equipment), or incidental damages.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage to any third party product used in connection with this product.  Any representations or promises inconsistent, or in addition to this warranty are unauthorized and shall not be binding upon Lynktec.

TruGlide Stylus tips and Apex Fine Point Stylus nibs are consumable items which are expected to wear out over time and will require eventual replacement as a result of normal usage, but will be replaced if found to be defective.

Exclusions and Limitations

Lynktec’s limited warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy, offered in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.  This limited warranty does not cover damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or external causes such as acts of nature, and it does not apply to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse or unauthorized modification to the product.  This limited warranty excludes without limitation any scratching or damage to a non-Lynktec product, even if packaged or sold with a Lynktec product.

This limited warranty will not, under any circumstances, cover the replacement, repair, or cost of any personal property.  In no case shall Lynktec be liable for any consequential or incidental damages for breach of this or any other limited warranty expressed or implied whatsoever, even if the loss or damage is caused by Lynktec’s negligence or fault.

Lynktec’s liability to customer, if any, shall in no event exceed the total of the purchase price.  This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional legal rights which vary depending on your state laws.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe that your product requires warranty service, please contact our Customer Care team at support@lynktec.com to make a warranty claim.

To ensure each warranty claim is for a genuine Lynktec product, you will be required to provide proof of purchase in the form of an online order number or a copy of your purchase receipt from the authorized retailer.  Any product requiring warranty service must be registered for warranty service within 60 days from date of purchase.

Returning for Repair or Replacement

All returns must include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a note describing the suspected defect.  You will be asked to send the defective product to the address provided for Quality Assurance testing and evaluation before a replacement product can be sent.

You will be responsible for shipping the product back to the address specified by Lynktec’s Customer Care team, including any shipping or handling costs which are non-refundable.  We recommend using a shipping service with proper tracking information and insuring the product against loss or damage.  Customers outside of the United States are responsible for paying Customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties, and brokerage.

Lynktec reserves the right to send you a replacement product that is of the same or a similar style, or a substitute equivalent which may not be of like kind, depending on product availability.  Replacement product will be furnished on an exchange basis only.

Please note that while we process returns as quickly as possible, the full warranty replacement process may take between 2-4 weeks.  You will receive an email notification to alert you when the replacement product has been shipped.
